It was very easy to assemble. I had a snag assembling a few pieces upside down, but other than that it was easy. It seemed strong and durable. To be honest I thought my cat would love it as she was new to my house and still getting shaken around with us. She had never gone into the hole voluntarily before. As soon as I put it in, it comes out immediately. She would rather stand on it or crawl under it. Aside from my cat hating it it's a great concept and I'm sure other cats would appreciate a place to hide and just get a few hours or a good nap.
