No security gate disassembled after 17 months
The advantage is that they are easy to install, look clean and elegant. The first downside is that LED batteries run out pretty quickly, but that's not the point. However, this week we found that on the FIRST TRY, our 17 month old figured out how to unlock it which really says if it really is a security gate. We're glad we installed it between the kitchen and dining room and not in the stairwell, otherwise the consequences would have been dire. And no, he's not a particularly talented 17-month-old boy, just an ordinary curious boy.
