works very well. We have an above ground swimming pool and chicken coops with wires for lighting and heating lamps. We powered them with extension cords. I had wild hair and decided to install the correct power supply. I dug a trench from my power supply to the pool and then to the chicken coops. I buried a 14-2UF wire (15A circuit) and installed a box and conduit where the wire goes into the ground to protect the wire from damage and to comply with NEC regulations. I installed this GFCI in the first box to protect all downstream connections. I now have 3 well placed GFCI protected outlets to power my pool, patio and chicken coops. No more extension cords to hit the mower.
