Initially the cable was defective or unstable. I bought it with the Anker charger. At first they worked fine. After a few weeks, however, the combo stopped charging my Macbook Pro. I tried the same cable with a factory charger and it seemed to work. So I thought it might be the charger. However, after a while the cable stopped working even for the factory charger. Request a charger return from Revain. But at the same time I bought a new cable and tried both chargers. They seem to be working great with the new cable from the past few weeks which means the cable broke in a short amount of time. I really hope that doesn't happen with the charger. The way Anker (and most companies) get you to buy more stuff is that the lifetime of these products is designed to expire the return policy. And now I'm stuck with a bad cable I bought less than 2 months ago.
