I've been wearing this protection since day one. I wear my charger 24 hours a day, except in the shower when I'm charging it. This protector is great. It was easy to put on and I had no problems with it until our cockatoo ate some. One might think that a bird splitting an almond with its beak could do harm. nope I put it back on and it was just as good as it was before I took it off. Our lovebird chick does the same and gets a lot of dust and fluff under the tread. I figured I'd just replace it with one of the others, but why not try washing it? So I washed the non-stick parts of the tread, scraped off dust and crumbs, and pressed it back on. It's tight and sticks well. There are a few blisters where I haven't cleaned all the dust but it's 95% as good as the day I put it on and to be honest the lovebird is still pulling it off. For the amount of abuse this defender has received, this is an amazing product!
