many smart improvements over last year's model

I've tried many multimedia remote control keyboards for my home theater (HTPC). This is now my second favorite. (My favorite is the discontinued Lenovo N5902 backlit remote). Rii makes an affordable and constantly improving controller. all of the complaints i had with last year's models have now been resolved. *now charges with the ubiquitous micro-USB instead of the outdated mini-USB (slightly larger connector) *includes a removable battery. I haven't had any issues with my last year's battery drain, but I suspect Rii is taking steps to reduce the potential problem area* in the right-most area, it's no longer side-by-side with the up/down buttons, but more standard del , enter keys. * I love the new scroll wheel (bright red). You can just click on it as you would expect. I think the only thing I don't think they really solved is the highlight. Rest assured that if you're looking for this highlight, you don't want to be looking for it. In this case, however, you need to press two keys to activate it - the left function key and the right Windows key. So far, to get around this, I've only turned off the remote switch and then turned it back on to turn on the keyboard. maybe in 2019 they will just have a row of buttons with three functions: OFF, ON and ON BACKLIGHT. I would definitely pay 3€ more for that. The other thing that's difficult for me personally is that I'm used to an old Lenovo remote that I've been using for years. Our family can operate it with one hand instead of two. I feel like it's basically a two-handed remote. Every time you need to move things around on your computer screen, it can feel a little more complicated. but overall a great, well-designed device that has come a long way since last year.
