It's fine -- we'll see how long it lasts. I just needed an extra 1" of pad to fill out the linen cover of a daybed mattress. I thought the mattress I bought was memory foam but it turns out it had springs in it, so I needed to soften it the top of it as well. The linen upholstered cover I bought off Etsy (which I love) fit the mattress okay but not as snug as I wanted - not sure if it was because of the mattress-type or what. Anyway, this did the trick. But I would double-check the size when you get it. Getting a Queen when I ordered a Twin was not a problem, but obviously, the reverse would be.
