I was renovating my house and it changed the look a lot. The old mirror had been there long enough that the backing had chipped around the edges, making the chipped edges look more like window glass than a mirror. It was also a rectangle centered over a small sink/vanity. This oval mirror seems to have opened up that small area somewhat, although it could be the lighting through the mirror. My bathroom had no lights above the mirror, relying only on a ceiling light. So the extra light makes the small bathroom even more beautiful! Of course I changed the look of the countertop with resin, replaced the old plastic faucet with a gorgeous new one, tiled the walls next to and behind this mirror to make the whole area look amazing, but with the size of this mirror it makes a big difference and I make sense I am very pleased. I particularly like that I didn't have to call an electrician to connect it, I could just plug it in. The defogger works very well - it's too cool!
