I bought this whisk to use with a ceramic grill to avoid scratching it. I used it for the first time last night to whip up a gumbo sweat. Anyone who's cooked gumbo knows how long it takes to whip up a roux to get it where it's supposed to, and heck, that whisk rode the wrestling bus halfway. It's too thin to whip for long periods of time or to whip thicker liquids like roux. Will try to return as I know the thing will fall apart the next time I use it, at the moment it barely lasts a lifetime. So disappointing from OXO.
