Before this purchase, I had trouble cleaning my drinking chambers. The only small issue I have is that the plastic strap is quite stiff and doesn't compress/stretch enough to fit my large 3 liter bladder, so I often come home and see how my bladder is slowly slipping down (see . photo), sometimes hanging a thread. No big deal, only $9! I also like that it includes a tiny brush to get into the bite valve. All I need is this kit, dish soap and a little patience and what used to be my least favorite post-hike job. Well, it's still my least favorite job, but it's made my life so much easier! I would have no hesitation in buying this over the more expensive branded cleaning kits.
