Review on πŸ‹ Cruelty Free Lemon Verbena Scented Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Dishwashing Liquid Dish Soap - 16 oz (Pack of 3) by Rachel Cook

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Madge might not soak her client's hands in it, but I prefer it for the dishes.

I was skeptical when a family member first ordered this. We've used national-brand dishwashing liquid for generations, and it seemed like yet another hipster, millennial-chic product, complete with a retro label and chic ingredients. The price seemed to confirm my suspicion. But we had it, so we used it up, and then we used up more. I've forgotten it. We recently bought a bottle of National Brand when we ran out of Meyer's and I noticed a few things: - National Brand is difficult to wash off. Meyers washes off quickly without leaving any visible residue - The National brand always seemed to leave an odor/taste due to the previous point. Meyers just left our dishes clean. The perfumed smell of the "national brand" struck me as repulsive. I'm used to Meyer's lighter herbal scent. National Brand seems to need more product per load than Meyers. So let's stick with Meyers for now. UPDATE: It turns out that Mrs. Meyers is a brand. from Caldera, which is itself owned by. SC Johnson Corporation. And (at least in some markets) SC Johnson owns Colage-Palmolive. Maybe the last name is Madge Meyers? Well, as long as the product retains its value, we'll buy it. But we're certainly not tied to any particular brand if the formula changes for the worse.

Cons
