I ordered it because my son hates cleaning. We got this and he has been brushing his teeth morning and night for 4 days now! It is very soft where the bristles enter the mouth. The small size was perfect for a 5 year old. It has 3 settings and they are all soft enough for my son to love. One even a chewing gum cleaner. We noticed that his tongue cleaning wasn't complete, but he has lumps on the outside. So if you turn him aside and put him on his tongue, he'll clean his tongue well too. He usually uses it for a few turns each time as it only works for 50 seconds. He has to rock it back and forth to get both of his little molars in, but that's okay. It seems to clean better. It is very soft and does not irritate the mouth at all. He still needs to use his regular toothbrush sometimes, but that replaces the twice daily struggle and since using this he has become more willing to use his regular toothbrush. Definitely recommend!
