I bought this used monitor from Craigslist for $100. It was a great purchase and I would definitely consider spending $130-$150 on used and refurbished models on Revain and eBay. I have the S-IPS version. As noted by other reviewers, this is a higher quality type of LCD than most of the cheaper branded monitors sold by Dell, Acer, HP, etc. Said to be comparable to Apple Cinema displays from the same year (which still cost hundreds of dollars more). ). But since I've never used an Apple Cinema Display, I can't make a fair comparison. I am using a Dell 2007WFP as the second display for my 2006 Macbook Pro connected with a DVI cable. Picture quality is excellent, viewing angles are wide, and colors seem accurate. I like that it has a matte (not glossy) display. I also prefer the 16:10 aspect ratio (newer monitors and HDTVs are 16:9) because it gives more usable vertical space for word processing and web browsing.
