Magic30 Da If I wasn't satisfied with them, I can compare them. This product is definitely not as well made and feels as sturdy as the magic keyboard. The trackpad is also very poor compared to the Magic Keyboard, it just looks a lot bulkier and the two-finger scrolling is much more decoupled and doesn't seem to scroll down as far as on the Magic Keyboard either. Compared to the Magic Keyboard, the screen isn't as stable while I'm typing, that's probably due to the rotation. The keyboard itself is noticeably louder when typing and feels empty, like it's about to crack if you press harder than usual. You definitely won't be able to safely type this in a meeting or library, so keep that in mind. Installing the iPad was fairly easy, but required a bit of work. My final con is that it's not very secure when fully closed, the screen wants to flip over otherwise it falls apart easily, it would be nice to use a rubber band or something to keep it closed (or a stronger one magnetic closure). That's all cons, pros, and why I prefer the Magic Keyboard is that, unlike the Magic Keyboard, it lets you use your iPad like an iPad. It rotates and you can hold it in tablet mode. Why Apple can't figure it out just blows my mind. Your magic keyboard lets you detach the device and now you have two items to keep an eye on at all times when you want to use it in tablet mode and you have to use it naked without any affairs. Also the complaint you will read about the magic keyboard is that the angle you are forced to use the keyboard is really awkward and I agree with that. This device allows you to adjust the angle of your iPad as you like, more like a laptop. Overall, the price is a lot cheaper than the Magic Keyboard, although to be honest I'd prefer it to be around $50 for the quality.
