The dress was delivered in a packing envelope, I thought this was a mistake. I opened the package and it was folded tightly. Once out of the package I was amazed at the quality of this dress. It was beautiful. Since I bought it early and it was my granddaughters birthday present I was able to let it gradually unfold. I hung the dress on a hanger and clipped clothes pins all around the dress on the ruffles to help straighten the ones that were flipped up. My three year old granddaughter( who is really a princess) loved this dress. This is not a cheaply made or a costume, the bodice and skirt are lined, jewels are securely attached. It is a beautiful as the picture.
