Hungry 19 year old cat

This is the story of my starving cat. My poor 19 year old cat. The vet said she was dying. She stopped eating and only slept. realized she was starving in my house full of food. I started buying cat food. "For cats that don't want to eat. They are Catmandoo Bonita flakes. I have added them to a variety of wet and dry food. FINALLY she ate canned Friskies, the 'gravy' kind. A little more every week with sprinkles. I soon saw her eating out of her Pro Plan desiccant bag of cat food. Not from her plate, from the bag at her side. I switched to Pro Plan dry kitten food. It's almost the same, just more calories. Now she's on her feet, not like a young cat, but alert, demanding and noticeably heavier, she's even becoming a bit clingy, she has 1/4 can of wet Frisky on a plate, dry Proplan in a bowl and dry Proplan from one pocket on her side. I still throw out most wet food, but she likes "gravy". She'll be 20 in a month. Cheers to Emily.
