I have two of these to hang in the shower for my shower brushes. I got tired of the brushes being balanced to stand in a corner (and I didn't find touching the floor hygienic) so I tied a small piece of ripcord through the hole in the handle and hung them on these suction cups . I leaned against the wall. They cannot be placed on anything porous, and marble is porous. And some pottery. But you can put it on porcelain stoneware or glass doors. It took me about 5 seconds to put them on. They require no tools and are easy to remove or move. This is a great way to not poke permanent holes in your tile and they don't leave a sticky adhesive like other types of tile stick to. They're not tiny, though, so I placed them lower down, away from the line of sight, so they wouldn't be as noticeable.
