Dollar Store Quality!

Do not waste your money on this product, it’s not worth more than $2 I promise you! It was already broken when we opened it from the package (pictures above are taken directly after received) because It’s made SO CHEAP. but within 10 minutes of my toddler playing with it, about half the guitar face was peeled up. Go spend the $30 on a better one, cause I promise you this one won’t last more than a week and you will have wasted your time and money. ;)

Pros
  • Pretty amazing! My toddler loves it!
Cons
  • Strings snap with easy

My kid loved it. for my opinion

So I was going to rate this a 3 star but went with 4 because it does deserve it considering it is a kids toy. So it comes with thicker fishing line type material for the stings which made me not like it at first. But truth be told, at the end of the day I like the plastic strings for my kid since he is too young to actually want to learn how to play it and just yanks on the stings. Segueing into the toughness of this thing, my 2 year old boy uses this like a club more than a guitar and it is…

Pros
  • Fosters creativity and imagination in children
Cons
  • Instrument might require professional fixes

Good as a toddler toy

It is a child's toy, I don't believe it's meant to be used as an adult ukulele for actual music playing. It's very, very small. Perfect size for my four-year-old. She's banged it up quite a bit and it hasn't broken, so it's made more nicely than I expected when I first received it. For $10 it is what it is. I think it'd be a nice present for a younger child, particularly if you wouldn't be too upset if they broke it. I have no musical inclination whatsoever, so I have no idea if it can even be…

Pros
  • An ideal instrument for beginners
Cons
  • Hard to use with amps and pedals

Back can break easily

Nice little guitar that plays the strings which is very cute for beginning toddler, but the material has potential to break easily- which ours did. Nothing that I can’t just glue back together though.

Pros
  • Emits a warm and cozy sound
Cons
  • Fret positions not accurate

This was definitely a toy

I was hoping it would be like the pictures. This was made of wood that felt almost as thin as cardboard. The music it made from the strings were not soft on the ears or fingers. I would not buy this again. It is not like the picture and it broke after a week of having it.

Pros
  • If your looking for a gift for a kid. My 1 pick?
Cons
  • My daughter asked for this it's maybe 8oz it's tiny tiny tiny

I teach guitar and ukulele for work, and have to say 6 is about the age where most kids are ready to understand fully playing or caring for their instrument. That being said, it's never too early to encourage a love of music.Bought this for my niece's 3rd birthday and it's perfect! While it's plastic and definitely a toy, it looks real, is very sturdy and she loves it! This is perfect for those kids that are a little too young to have a real wooden (breakable) instrument, especially if you want

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Sounds tinny

Fun little toy for my opinion

The first day we opened it the front came apart a little bit. Could have been due to shipping. I used some super glue and put it back together and havent had an issue since. My 2 and a half year old has stepped on it, strummed it like a rockstar, thrown it, it's still intact. I think it was worth the money. Definitely for play as you cant really tune it or anything.

Pros
  • It is just his size
Cons
  • My granddaughter loves it. I am glad that the pick is attached

Great for Gentler Toddlers

My 16 mo son loved this ukulele. The strings are plastic and don't necessarily make perfect music, but that wasn't the point (and it didn't sound horrible). The point was for him to have something he could play with while we played with the actual guitar.something that if he destroyed it - it wouldn't break the bank. It lasted for a few months but unfortunately one day he took it into the car and while he was waving it around it hit the door. When it hit the door the entire front of it popped…

Pros
  • Guitars & Strings
Cons
  • Awful sound projection

Perfect for little ones, not great if trying to hold a tune

We bought this for our toddler who is always trying to play dad’s guitar! It’s great in that it’s lightweight and plastic. If you are looking for a legitimate ukulele I wouldn’t recommend this - it’s definitely a toy and doesn’t play music, but for a little one it’s fun and helps them feel included!

Pros
  • Adjustable to suit a variety of musical tastes
Cons
  • The sound becomes weak over time

Not a music instrument but a great toy for a good price!

This isn't a playable guitar, just so people know that. It's a cute little plastic guitar with elastic, plastic strings and a little pick attached by a string. It serves no function other than being a toy, it doesn't make "music" but rather a plunking sound that's soft and quiet. I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present and lordy does she love it. Her dad plays the guitar and now she runs to grab hers when he drags his out and plays along with him. It's a hard plastic and the…

Pros
  • Beautifully designed for kids
Cons
  • String replacement is costly

Got exactly what I wanted: a durable toy.

To be clear, I would NOT call this a musical instrument. It is a children’s toy that looks like one. That said, we got it for a purpose: for my toddler to "play guitar” without damaging my real one. And for that, it works perfectly. It is durable and safe for kids. I am satisfied.

Pros
  • When i had nothing els in mind, its great gift
Cons
  • Poor quality construction

Revainrating 3 out of 5

To small for the price

This is plastic no bigger then a thing of baby wipes and could have been bought at a 99 cent store for half the price. My kids already saw it so now I'm stuck with these. Pass if I was you on this one or be aware of how big they are. If you have toddlers maybe it would be ok but for anyone older then 3 it's a waste of money.

Pros
  • Perfect for diverse musical styles
Cons
  • Volume is very limited

Great kids ukulele highly recommend for kids

I gave this as a gift to my 7 year old daughter, and she loved it! She had been wanting a ukulele for a long while but never found one that was meant for kids. This one was perfect. It’s light weight. It is mad of hard plastic it can break but if used properly will be fine. I like that the pick cam attached to the ukulele with a string helps a lot with finding it. We had had a guitar in the past and we kept loosing the pick. The sound is great. Definitely more for kids than for an adult looking

Pros
  • Musical Instruments
Cons
  • Tuning marks fade easily

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent, for the price

Bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday. Its definitely more of a toy than an instrument. You can't tune the strings because they are interconnected. So, if you are looking for something your small child can play pretend with and act like a rock star, this is it! If you want them to be able to play and learn a skill, I would go with something else.

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • Does not come with accessories

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great toy that toddler enjoyed, but broke

Our toddler really enjoyed playing his ukulele guitar a lot and bringing it around places, and it was great fun for the price. Unfortunately, it did break within 1-2 weeks and was not as durable as one would like, but I guess for the low price paid (which was nice for the fun he got out of it) you also have a not very sturdy guitar.

Pros
  • Produces clear and rich sound
Cons
  • The strings are not adjustable

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Young guitarist. best in my review

I bought this for my grand son so he could play along with me when I play gutair. He play it everytime he comes over. This is just the right size for him and is durable enough for his young age.

Pros
  • 8.1 ounces
Cons
  • Strings feel plasticky

The sound of the ukulele isn’t the best, but it works for a child. Especially, for a child that is a beginner and just warming up to it. It does not tune that great like a real ukulele, but gets a decent sound. My daughter likes to play it time to time.

Pros
  • A wonderful gift for children who love music
Cons
  • Incorrectly sized frets
