After battling bed bugs I bought this. It's been about a month and I haven't seen a single bug since! I don't know if it's waterproof as I haven't spilled anything on it and it's only a month old so can't confirm its durability but flawless is what I was looking for. I've noticed one or two every night and found little nests in the seams of the mattress when spraying, which never worked. This case works very well. It covered my standard size double mattress and my box spring together (about 16-18 inches total) so you didn't have to buy two. -- I would like to add that it is January 23rd, more than a month since I changed my mattress. and a spring block, I didn't see a single flaw.
