There were no instructions in my package (Amazon Warehouse Deal) but I have already installed a lot of such things (levelling, marking, drilling, assembling). Unfortunately, the fixing kit that came with this shelf was useless because the plastic drywall anchors didn't stick or press against the drywall. I ended up using my own mounting hardware that is designed to hold heavier weight with the same hole size. I screwed the bracket in place and finished assembling the shelf with ease. When the bracket is fully assembled it allows for quite a bit of shelf flexibility. This is an issue with a glass shelf as I'm concerned that any real weight could cause the glass to bend enough to break. (my use for it) but I wouldn't use it for anything heavy like books or a receiver.
