Review on Skechers Relaxed Memory Superior Gains Men's Shoes for Loafers & Slip-Ons by Black Holstead

The quality is good but it hurts until it tears.

I use these moccasins as a substitute for slippers when walking around the house. While a pair of cozy slippers may be more comfortable to start with, I have found that they always break too easily and are unreliable for traction going up and down stairs. These loafers are almost perfect, they offer good traction, a sturdy exterior that protects my feet and just enough material to keep my feet warm in good socks. The fit is good and I found the measurements to be accurate which can vary slightly between brands and even styles from the same brand. I've never had this problem with sketchers, so they're pretty reliable in that regard. The insoles are made of memory foam, which doesn't seem to last more than a month with moderate wear. I use an aftermarket insert that makes the bottom comfortable and provides better grip. The skin ages well and still looks good after 3 months and the stitches still look tight and are holding up well. The style of these loafers looks great and you can wear them with casual wear. The two biggest downsides to these loafers are that the high backrest rests squarely on the Achilles' heel, making it very painful to wear to the point of breaking. A little addition to this part would be of great help here. Also, I found that the smell of these loafers became unpleasant after a few days of wearing them. It might just be the skin reacting to sweat, but they definitely have a unique first-month funk. By the way, these loafers have ZERO breath, so if you plan on wearing them for more than a few hours, use foot powder and take them off for a few minutes every now and then. Otherwise sweat builds up.

Pros
  • Contrasting stitching.
Cons
  • Something is wrong
