Between cars, bikes, scooters, rocks, football cleats, and even dogs, utility hoses have tended to be short-lived in our busy home. Kinks often interrupted car washing, and pulling a hose around the corner of the house to water just a few more plants has damaged several of them. The kids used to laugh because all of our hoses had tape or repair couplers on them. I believe those days have come to an end with the STYDDI Stainless Steel Water Hose; it certainly did a great job when I washed the car (and looks pretty fly too!)Although surprisingly light and flexible, the STYDDI hose is tough as nails - tougher, actually, as SAE 304 stainless steel is extraordinarily strong, the grade most often specified for industrial applications. While easy to handle, this hose is virtually impossible to crush or kink, and impervious to animal bites or rough edges. This type of stainless can be discolored by strong corrosive chemicals, but these are unlikely to be seen in most applications, especially in homes; for factory use this might be a consideration.The twenty-five foot length is actually quite useful, but because the connectors are standard, adding one or more additional hoses - stainless or otherwise - is easy. Incidentally, the STYDDI Stainless Steel Water Hose has excellent connectors with strain reliefs at both ends. The included jet spray nozzle is icing on the cake, a good sprayer for general use. I'm delighted with this hose and recommend it.
