I was a little afraid to buy these headphones. What worries me is that I paid for a brand name but ended up with poor quality headphones. However, my expectations were exceeded in this price range. The sub-bass in these headphones is amazingly loud and clear, which is an area where many headphones fall short. I have big ears and the largest of the three pairs of ear pads that come with them is perfect for me. I also like the cord style. The silver-on-black pattern is also somewhat functional, as it makes the headphones easier to spot if you're looking for them. To be clear, these are not audiophile quality headphones. But the sound is good and the price is excellent in this price range. I think they are great for both the gym and running which is why I bought them.
