Our baby (and we!) love this book

We received this book when our baby was 6.5 months old. She listened to him with pleasure and immediately looked at the pictures. Now she is almost 13 months old and studies the book several times a day. She enjoys pressing buttons and flipping through pages, and even now she's starting to associate pages with the appropriate song button. She liked the book so much that we ended up putting it in her dressing room and she listens to it while we change her diaper and dress her - it helps her calm down but also keeps her active. One of her first words was even "Bao Bao"! We don't speak Chinese, but a native Chinese speaker came to visit several times a week to play with her in Chinese when she was 7-9 months old (would have continued but the coronavirus quarantine started) and she sang along to these songs our baby and found them in exact translation, as well as songs she knew from her own childhood. We also really like the songs in this book and have started singing some of them - our languages are still tied to some of the songs and words, but it's fun to try and sing along! We also have French nursery rhymes from Cali's Books (which our little one also loves) but Bao Bao's book is much, much, much better in quality, both in terms of structure, battery/button life and song length (the Bao Bao songs are repeated). twice so you can actually master them while Cali's Books songs are truncated). We had to change the batteries in Kali's books twice in the same period, while the original batteries in Bao Bao's book still work great.
