Review on 🔌 CableDeconn Dual Mini SAS SFF-8088 to SAS36P SFF-8087 Adapter with PCI Bracket by Dale Hing

I wish I could see another review on the low profile mount. It is true that the bracket is misaligned (picture attached) and it is NOT SUITABLE for use in a 2U server. The end-to-end bracket is installed correctly. It should also be noted that the latch at the top of the mount goes to the right instead of the left (like every other card sold in North America). This causes problems when used with other adapters. The design of the board is such that when using a low-profile bracket, the mounting flange will touch the motherboard, preventing the bracket from installing properly in the socket. This is a complete and utter design flaw. The attached image shows what a properly designed low profile mount and adapter should look like. I have sent feedback to the manufacturer so the design can be improved and made suitable for a 2U (low profile) server application. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU INTEND TO USE IN A 2U SERVER
