I bought this coat because I needed a 3 in 1 jacket to navigate Seattle fall and winter with its cold, damp rain. So far I’ve only worn the outer shell as a rain coat. It has kept me very dry. It fits well, seems to be very waterproof and has big zipped pockets to keep my phone and other small things dry. I like the way it looks—the black is sort of a matte finish and the coat seems well constructed. I’m hopeful that I’ll be as happy when I where it with the inner jacket liner.UPDATED 12/09I loved this jacket until the hood zipper began to separate and finally I lost the hood in a busy airport because the hood zipper split. Very disappointed in the quality—only have had the the coat two months. Dropping my positive review because of poor construction quality.
