Review on πŸ‘œ Augus Briefcases Business Messenger Bag in Elegant Brown: The Ultimate Corporate Companion by Brian Piecuch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful and just what I needed (But the zip doesn't work)

UPDATE: Six months later and I still love this briefcase but the zip doesn't work. I half expected this as these are not reliable zippers. So I'm reluctantly deducting my original 4 stars.β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” I rarely write reviews, but I'm very happy with this product. I like it a lot - three compartments, roomy pockets, nice leather (smell of leather knocks you out when you open the package). I love that it has a loop on the back to attach it to the handle of a roller bag. This is exactly what I needed. My only complaint (and the reason for four stars instead of five) is that the pen loops are bottomless, meaning they don't fit my fountain pen well - the bottom of the pen often falls to the bottom of the briefcase (which, like a fountain , is a problem as it dries out and can cause a mess). I would recommend they make pen pockets instead of just loops. I hope so, but a little concerned about the buttons on the piece of leather that wraps the two handles together. They don't break easily and I'm concerned about their durability. Those two little things aside, I highly recommend the briefcase. Knowing what I know I would buy it again (hopefully with pen pockets and not loops).

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Negative impression
