With or without a screen protector

I love the green military case! It's beautiful and very thin. Easy to hold. The problem, however, is that the case covers the part where the Apple Pencil holds and charges the stylus. After I put a screen protector on my iPad, the case doesn't seem to fit properly and the stylus stops charging. I refuse to remove the protective film because I use the Apple Pencil a lot. I had to remove the case to charge the pencil. Disappointing. I'm thinking about finding a better case or cutting out the part of the case that holds the pencil. I don't want to part with this amazing green and thin case! I love Spigen because I have an iPhone 12 Pro case. Spigen cases are the best because they are the thinnest and most comfortable devices to hold.
