Pros: I can confirm that this is indeed gel inside, this is not one of those fakes that have foam inside. Cons: I know this because within 9 months the mouse pad warped, flattened and lost the ability to get back into shape. This eventually caused a bulge that grew until the seam ruptured and the gel began to extrude. I'm an avid user so didn't expect this to last for years, but even a year seems a little poor quality. However, the keyboard pad works well and the print is very light and clear without sacrificing the softness or glide of the fabric.
