Cute and soft in my opinion.
It's soft, according to IDK reviews, it's not. It's not Calvin Klein, it's a $10 Revain sweater that does the trick. But he is very soft. I ordered 4T, my toddler wears 3T/4T in most things. It's a little bit, but not in a bad way, still very sweet. Will update if there are issues, purchased for the event.
