I bought this because it was cheap and durable. I've used it with the airship and. Driven Ntg4. First the bad: The first night I used it, it was almost impossible to tighten the airship to keep it from spinning. It was also nearly impossible to tighten the extension plugs when unplugging. When I tightened it to keep the sections from slipping, it was so tight that when I tried to trim it to get to the next spot, they stayed in place. If you twisted them so they came loose, the thing fell apart. So 10 minutes into blocking I'm struggling to make it work and after the first shot the insides of the twist-downs are falling apart and my new poll makes me look stupid sticking it up to put it back together. To make matters worse, the pool with the carbon blimp and nozzle, when extended about 4 inches and reserved in all tubes for stiffness, flexes 4 to 5 inches like wet noodles. THIS IS NOT A PRO SURVEY! OK. It's fairly light, the grip padding is decent, and for a garage worker that might be fine. This is a 12 foot survey. As long as you never extend it about 7 feet and don't use an ultra-light microphone, you're fine. I personally will never use it again. Use the insights gained and buy a new survey. In my opinion, this is a terrible example of a public opinion poll.
