Perfect! in Accessories

I bought this product a month ago and have since used it on several short films I'm making and needed something to improve the audio of dialogue. The soft grip and twist locks make the bar great for the price, but the integrated XLR cable makes it even better. Expandable section so I can make it longer or shorter with the push of a button. Strong aluminum and yet surprisingly light. Comes with inch adapters so I can use 3/8 or 5/8 threaded mics. Nothing but smooth work here!

Pretty but heavy Best in class Accessories

I usually rate a product "for what it is" because I think buyers should take responsibility for finding out about product features, design, structures etc. to inform. But here I'm breaking that rule a bit, because despite the fact that it's aluminum, this is a great arrow. it's still aluminum and noticeably heavier than the carbon fiber rivals, which are really falling in price. In other words, if that boom really is all you can afford, then it's fine, and you may be able to build muscle…

Good for a toy but NOT for something professional

I bought this because it was cheap and durable. I've used it with the airship and. Driven Ntg4. First the bad: The first night I used it, it was almost impossible to tighten the airship to keep it from spinning. It was also nearly impossible to tighten the extension plugs when unplugging. When I tightened it to keep the sections from slipping, it was so tight that when I tried to trim it to get to the next spot, they stayed in place. If you twisted them so they came loose, the thing fell apart.
