Had a tummy tuck a few weeks ago and this was my first compression garment, I love the tummy control and the fact that the crotch is open however, the first time I wore it I broke out in welts. Had an allergic reaction to the material in the front. Because it’s only the front I decided to try it again this time padding the area with foam compression boards and that did the trick. It holds well and as long as it doesn’t directly touch my skin I’m ok. The front compression area is made of a firmer material, I think latex and spandex while the rest of the garment is spandex.
