I happened to fall in love with this lip balm when I first bought it at a discount store as I like to save a buck or two and discount stores are my jam. When I finally ran out of lip balms at the discount store (which took forever because I bought them for $4 and had plenty in stock), I found them on Amazon for the best price given the quantity. It's still every bit as good as a discount store, but there's something a little different about it. The silky feel on my lips is about 20% less, but still silky enough that I like it almost as much. Did you change the recipe? Maybe. Do my lips just prefer the reduced and possibly expired version? Quite possible. But since I'm not sure, I'll dock one star to the other and let you decide.
