My rescue dog is an old sweetheart, but he doesn't like having his teeth brushed at all. I tried using a regular long dog toothbrush but it was too difficult to maneuver while keeping the dog's head still. I bought these finger toothbrushes to steady her head with the rest of my hand. Everything seems to be going well and I can access all of her teeth, although she still refuses to brush her teeth. The toothbrush doesn't seem to have shed its bristles or lost its shape yet and I've been using one of these for a few weeks. I like that the body is hard plastic so I can press against her tooth. I have medium-sized hands for a woman and the brush is quite tight. So if you have really fat fingers you might have trouble getting them to the tip of the brush. However, you can still use the brush as it gets narrower.
