I am very happy with this purchase. I bought this for a 10 year old and it fits little hands better than a regular soccer ball. In the evenings we like to take him to street concerts and the like where it's easy to see if he's gone. At first I was confused as to how it works, but I realized it has to hit or bounce for it to catch fire. When someone is not using it, the light will turn off automatically. I will say that there were times when it should have activated but it didn't. Generally he does what he says.
