I only used it for a few days before returning it. I wanted to use 2 of these to fill a small backyard, 50ft wide and 30ft deep. I quickly found that the audio was loud but not loud enough, even at max volume. Bass was also decent for a radio of this size, on par with our Bose SoundLink Mini (which I can say has a wider soundstage than this). Sound projection was also too limited. When you were about 10 feet from the speaker you could still barely feel the bass, but when it was further away it was gone. This speaker is designed for a small meeting crowded with people; something like a beach, campfire sites that run marketing ads. This is a good speaker for limited settings. Also, I tried to pair it with LG RK7 only to find out on LG forum that PK7 can pair with other PK7 and PK5 but not with RK7. Similar incompatibilities exist for the entire LG XBOOM range (OK99, OK75, etc.). Why LG decided to make products from the same family incompatible with each other is beyond me. There are situations like mine where a PK7 and RK7 would be ideal; but no, instead please buy 2 x RK7 for compatibility?! It's like a thumbs up for the consumer. Then I tried to use it with LG TV. I thought that two great LG devices should go great together. So I plugged them in and found max volume was anemic again. This was weird because when I was indoors I was streaming music from my phone using multiple different sources (Pandora, Plex, etc.). the audio was actually quite loud and the bass boomed (indoors only). But when connected to an LG TV it was just pathetic, with the Bluetooth volume maxed out. What the heck does LG do when they can't even get their products to work well together and create an experience that makes the user say "wow"? But I still wanted to try it and thought maybe I don't need it so loud. But there was another shortcoming. automatic switch off. When plugged in, the speaker will play at full volume while something streams onto it; This is an improvement over the Sony SRS-XB range. However, if no music is played after 15 minutes or no buttons are pressed for 6 hours, the speaker will turn off. Again, this is an improvement over other speakers, but it's a problem for indoor use**. When I turn on the TV and want to use the bluetooth speaker as the output source, I don't want to press the power button and then the bluetooth button every time. I want a speaker that is connected to the network and has a constant power supply to go into a sleep state with a Bluetooth connection in a standby state. That way when I turn on the TV I just have to change my audio sources as it will automatically connect. Also, the spot I placed the speaker (behind and under our bed) would have been impossible for me to reach and turn on every time (unless there was a speaker remote like the RK7). Overall this is a decent speaker with very good sound, decent bass but limited projection range. I would recommend it for smaller gatherings but that's about it.
