Review on SmartCAM by Brian Rogel

It is very easy to use since it can be used with any machine tool regardless if its in house or purchased from another vendor such as KUKA Robotics (which we have). Easy integration into CAM system like Solidworks which also has an option where you could import your own G code files using their free solidspace plugin! If I had anything negative about this program, then maybe some sort customization would help make things better but overall i liked how simple everything was when setting up our first project. Having multiple options available makes life easier especially given all different types of machines on hand or needing setup at one time. We are able solve many problems including programming complex parts without having to do trial & error workarounds by just simply typing away what ever part needs done next until completion. I like that SmartCAM is a very easy to use, intuitive program. It is flexible and allows for a great deal of customization. The program is simple to use, and it is easy to learn. The program is still in the beginning stages of development, so I would like to see more updates released. I am able to use SmartCAM to create CNC milled parts for my business. I am able to use SmartCAM to create CNC turned parts for my business.
