As an iced coffee lover, I have used various systems to make coffee grounds, then put them in water, cool and wait for the magic. occur. I've used the French press method, various metal or mesh filters in glass containers, and various coffee grinding methods. As I was preparing for a long trip and desperately trying to find a system to take with me on the go, I came across these cloth filters. I wouldn't need to carry a coffee grinder or filter to clean. All I had to do was fill coffee bags, fill a pitcher with water, and by the end of the workday, the coffee was ready. No need to grind whole beans to a smooth consistency, the bags hold regular coffee without spilling the coffee grounds. No messy cleaning, just toss the set bags in the trash. I even used the same pack which was the same thickness in the second round of water resulting in a less potent drink mix but still full of flavor. At home I continued to use these Alto bags. I no longer have to grind whole beans or use strainers in the sink like I do when rinsing out old coffee grounds. I don't have to worry about whether my screens are made of really good metal, clean or rusted. I only have clean cans that are used for brewing. Using coffee brewing bags has simplified the process while retaining the great taste of a cold beverage. I recommend this option to everyone. I love it.
