As a beginner quilt I didn't want to spend like $100 on an official Bernina walking foot so I tried this one which was a lot cheaper. That's great! I've made 2 blankets so far and it works really really well. I can't even imagine what could be better at $100. It took a bit of searching on youtube to figure out how to install it - instructions in the package would be nice. Just remember to tighten the screw on the needle clamp (screwdriver included) after removing it to install the small fork on the walking foot. When I first used it, it came off and the needle broke.
