So I'm an adult and my kids are adults but based on some reviews I decided to give this a try as I have a very sensitive scalp. When you have dry hair, it becomes like hay and cannot be combed. You really need a detangler or a good conditioner. I mean, I think it's good, but just buy a really good conditioner if you have matted hair and fine texture. It's really soft and smells nice. If you use a lot of products like gels and mousses and leave them in conditioners I don't think this will remove those products from your hair. Remember that babies' hair is virgin, they don't dye their hair and they don't use all the products we make. So don't expect this to remove products or help color treated hair in any way. But if your hair is fairly natural and you don't use a lot of hair products after washing or coloring your hair, this would probably be great.
