Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with Fender PureSonic Wireless Earbuds by Isaiah Bower

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very poor Bluetooth performance in an otherwise very good product

40 years of audio, first as a performer then as a pro. Tried a lot of equipment, heard a lot of hype and knows a lot about audio. I bought this product to listen to audio while exercising and working with a lawn mower. Wired products don't do well for either purpose, so Bluetooth was a key feature for me. This product is manufactured by a well-known company, although its history is mainly related to the manufacture of instruments and amplifiers. PureSonic headphones aren't in the same class as in-ear headphones, but in terms of performance, the headphones are pretty good. Good frequency response across the practical spectrum - as long as you sit tight. Pretty easy. Ergonomic design on headphones and controls. Spent a few days trying them out and was very disappointed that their Bluetooth capabilities are extremely limited; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call him "lame". Using the same iPhone 7 Plus, I can easily transmit signals to eight other Bluetooth products up to 15+ feet away. PureSonic headphones cut and fail in less than one meter of water. The signal cuts out if I hold the phone in my hand or in my pocket while walking. I have to keep my phone within 30 inches of my headphones to stay connected. This renders the product unusable for my purposes and it will be returned. In most cases this is not a problem, but also the battery and control box are too close to the headphones themselves for me to wear hearing protection over the headphones; The tread pads press on these parts, which is both uncomfortable and degrades soundproofing.

Cons
