I couldn't understand the DVD that came with it, but there are plenty of instructions and how to set it up that are part of it. fun so bundled. The motors have some momentum, but the robot won't go straight without some sort of control. The motors come with an encoder but no encoder for their use. It's a pretty standard part that you can also buy from Revain and one reason I bought this kit was to make the wheel rotation PID controlled so I'm not complaining. For a cheap kit the parts are pretty solid. I replaced the wheel with a 3D printed cone to prevent the wheel from accidentally making the robot spin. If you compare this kit to a kit without electronics, the stroke is less than the cost of the parts. So you really should get this kit even if you use the Arduino for something else.
