Review on Tripp Lite TLP604 Surge Protector Power Strip with 6 Outlets, 4ft Cord, Gray – Includes $20,000 Insurance by Anthony Robichaud

I bought a Tripp Lite TLP604 surge protector for my microwave. I wanted at least 600 joules of protection, the ability to turn off the power with a switch, and an indicator light to show the surge protector was still providing protection. Finally, I wanted a short cable. I actually preferred the wireless wall mount, but couldn't find one that met my other needs. This Tripp LIte surge protector meets the requirements of 3.5. I plugged it into an outlet and the Protected LED came on. I connected the microwave to the surge protector and it works. The ON/OFF switch works. Everything seems fine so far. Happy with my purchase. For my needs I'd rate it closer to 4.5 stars, but other than that it's exactly what I wanted. PROS: - Indicator light - Power rocker switch - Short cord - Over 600 joules of protection - Reasonable price CONS: - Wanted a wall mount but not a deal breaker -
