Review on Nikon 35mm f/2D AF Nikkor Lens by Vanchay Chounmalaith ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

The lens is extremely interesting precisely for the quality of the lenses, but it is very specific in application. Based on the experience of using it on the d300s and 800, let me draw the following conclusions. Hole 2 - totally smears. Hole 2.8 - in the center more or less. 5.6 hole - fully expands and lets in more light than many 4 hole lenses. It also has incredible depth of field and sharpness. Hole 8 - sharpness begins to fall in proportion to the hole being clamped. In general, this is a vacation glass - compact and sharp at a hole of 5.6, which allows you to shoot walkers along the evening streets with shop window lighting, or shoot indoors without a flash. The 5.6 hole on this lens allows you to shoot with Nikon 300es with approximately the same parameters as 35-1.4 dg on a 2.8 hole, I don’t advise buying it for those who are looking for a wide application of the aperture, the lens is narrowly applicable - but it works out its range perfectly - you just need to keep this in mind.

Pros
  • Small and compact.
Cons
  • Not all modes are working.
