They magnets are a good strength, not to strong to make them hard for little hands to pull apart, but strong enough to hold the structure together even 3 levels high. The colors are bright and there are a lot of shapes . There are lots of accessories to make fun objects like a car or castle. They come with a little case with a handle to store them. My older kids love these too so they are a great toy to have in your toy closet.
