I have been an occasional smoker for about 2 decades. I drink coffee occasionally, and with three kids, I've often fallen asleep without brushing my teeth. I quit smoking because my lips were starting to darken, but in patches! DISCOVER! In addition to anything else I wanted to try for my lips, I decided to add teeth whitener. OMG WONDERFUL I had comb strips and all and although most of them worked, THESE REALLY HAD WHITE MY TEETH FOR SHARES OF THE PRICE. Not sure if it contains bleach or not, but I know they WORK! On the first day, the tips of my teeth were whiter and seemed less damaged. Every time I touched the back of my bottom teeth with my tongue, I literally felt rust (plaque). Today I feel absolutely nothing, but my teeth, lips and gums have lightened up a bit. I use Sensodyne to fix the enamel and a Phoebe mouthguard to keep it in place. I peel them off, stick them on my teeth for 30 minutes, then use a toothbrush with water to brush away any residue and you're done! The instructions are very simple and there is nothing repulsive or grumbling. I have unknowingly left them a little longer than recommended and trust me when I say that there really is no need to leave them past the recommended time. Also, my teeth don't look artificial, which has happened in the past (when I was a heavy smoker looking for a quick fix). Absolutely no irritation before or after brushing. Great product, great results!
