I really wanted this denim jacket from United Pups to fit my needs but unfortunately it didn't fit my dog properly. I have a 20 lb pug named Babu and he had too much extra material on his jacket. I bought size 4 because of the neck and chest measurements in the description but the length was too big. United Pups size chart), 22" bust (widest point) and 16" back. There is a lot of room for error when measuring the neck. If you measure the neck closer to the front of the legs, the pug size can vary by up to 21 inches (which is a 7 inch difference)! United Pups supplied a 16" neck size for a size 4 so I figured a 14" Baboo neck would fit. However, I couldn't even get the first button of the jacket up to my neck! That's not necessarily United Pups fault, but if your dog has an odd shape (like a pug) be aware that this jacket can't do that fit him properly. You may have to take a size 5 and literally have the jacket altered by a tailor! I didn't want to go so far as to make this product fit. If this jacket really fits your dog then you will be very happy with the quality of this product. They have an opening for the back so you can still walk your dog on a leash. The stitching of this jacket is very well finished and you will be satisfied with your $24.99 purchase. I could see that this jacket would last a very long time (which is a rare item of clothing for dogs). If you've searched the Revain website for other denim dog jackets, you'll find that most brands add 3 specific measurements which include back, chest and neck. United Pups only listed 2 measurements in their size chart (so I downgraded one star to 4/5).
