Fur. The magnetic closure does not work well.

I used to have an Otterbox Symmetry case for my 2018 iPad Pro 11-inch, which I generally liked, apart from the weight (and price), but after years of using the adhesive that protects the front Flap keeps the body worn and the valve has become detached from the body. My replacement criteria were the need to support the iPad for landscape viewing, provide magnetic charging for the stylus, preferably a transparent back, magnetic closure, and mild/moderate to better drop protection. This case seemed to meet all of those requirements, except that the magnetic closure does not work properly or securely. When I close the lid as usual, the iPad does not lock; I can only get it to work when I press the top left corner of the lid (shouldn't that be the top right corner where the magnet is, if at all? Weird.), or sometimes when I turn the iPad over and somehow the flap shuts, sometimes it works, sometimes not. My battery life has decreased because sometimes I just close the lid and put the iPad down without putting it to sleep. Also, the buttons are very tight. Trying to take a screenshot is impractical. And this thing weighs a ton, although I'm a bit used to it from Otterbox. It feels about three times heavier than a tablet. On the other hand, I like the stand as it has a lot more different viewing angles than the Otterbox. I might not notice most issues, but the poor magnetic closure is an annoying disappointment. I probably won't be using this case in the long run.
