Purchased for rear view camera (Auto-Vox). Best set to buy. This set of cables was necessary to connect the camera directly to the car battery and bypass the cigarette lighter/power supply. The reason you want to connect to the car battery is for two reasons (1 - does not tie up your car's power port or forces you to purchase the dual power port option and 2 - only this battery connection option allows the front camera to record, when car is off for burglary/vandalism events - when plugged into carport for cigarettes then mostly only has power when car is on - like my van). Fits well for Honda Odyssey and CRV. Another tip when using Catabara wire is to use an empty car fuse slot - do not use Catabara wire as the fuse in my car seat blew. When I installed it alone, it worked fine. This means this kit plugs into an automotive fuse socket and allows you to plug an existing fuse into the extension cord - but then my fuse blew - so selecting an empty socket worked. Here is a description of the Catabara wire, that Revain sold and that I bought. I bought 2 and one had a broken micro-mini adapter and had to buy another adapter to make it work (which Revain helped with) - the seller also sent me a replacement cable that went straight to the mini-USB but it was too late to replace it out.
